The Industrial and Logistics Properties division of Greif & Contzen Immobilienmakler GmbH arranged for around 3,000 square metres of logistics space to be let in Langenfeld in the Rhineland region (administrative district of Mettmann).

The industrial property on Bahnhofstrasse is owned by Mileway, Europe’s biggest provider of last-mile logistics facilities with currently around 1,700 properties in ten different countries. The unit in Langenfeld was let to a forwarding company that needed additional warehouse space at short notice, due to an increase of customer orders. Greif & Contzen assisted both parties in concluding the letting contract within a very short time. The unit has already been handed over. The Mileway property on Bahnhofstrasse with its total size of around 10,000 square metres is now fully occupied.

‘The large number of requests we receive show that the Rhineland is among Europe’s most important logistics regions. The Mileway property shows that landlords and tenants will often come to an agreement very quickly, harnessing this very potential.’
