SIRIUS bought a business park in a popular industrial area in Cologne.

Sirius Real Estate Ltd. continues its activities in the area of business parks in Germany. The company’s most recent acquisition is a business park in Cologne-Rodenkirchen, featuring just under 19,000 square metres of warehouse and office space. The seller is a German institutional investor. The transaction was brokered by Greif & Contzen based on an exclusive mandate granted by the seller. Albrings & Müller (technical & ESG), Nova Ambiente (environmental) and Leinemann & Partner (legal) acted as advisors to the buyer. The parties agreed not to disclose the purchasing price.

The acquired business park is located on an over 36,000 square metres big plot in Rodenkirchen in the south of Cologne. The property that is used by small and medium-sized commercial enterprises is suitable for a diverse range of warehousing functions and features modern office space.
The business park is characterised by its excellent location and stable letting situation. Optimal access to the motorway A555 and to the nearby motorway junction Köln-Süd is provided via Kiesgrubenweg. In addition, there is a tram stop nearby that allows for quick travel to Cologne’s city centre. Tenants have appreciated these attributes and the flexible space utilisation concepts for many years.

Sirius Real Estate Ltd. plans to integrate the business park into its existing portfolio and to develop it further.

Tobias Schorstädt, Acquisitions Director at Sirius Facilities said: “We are happy to have successfully completed the acquisition of this top-quality business park in Cologne. It is our fourth business park in Cologne and can impress with its outstanding location and high level of tenant satisfaction.”
